The Wellness Store has a fully-stocked Chinese herbal apothecary. Depending upon your health needs and preferences, we offer access to nearly 400 high-quality single herbs in their naturally dried state, and as concentrated extract powders, and close to 100 proprietary formulations for specific health conditions in convenient capsule form.

We procure from growers throughout China to ensure the best quality herbs for you and your family’s health and wellness. Our products are tested for potency and contaminants and processed in GMP-certified laboratories so that you can be assured of their purity and quality.

We invite you to have the herbal prescription from your doctor of Oriental medicine and acupuncture filled on premises and watch as our herbalist assembles your personal formula.

We will also teach you how to ‘cook’ your formula and make your healing brew at home.

The Wellness Store has classes on natural healing with food and herbs. We also offer natural clay herb teapots, electric pottery teapots, and refrigerator jars in which to store your herbal infusions.

Herbal Consultation

Depending on the complexity of your condition, our licensed herbalist may recommend custom herbal formulation for your particular needs. Our herbalist offers individual health consultations and at the conclusion of your visit, you will receive a personally tailored Chinese herbal formula, filled on-site.

Our store’s herbalist, Kat Van Vlack, is available Tuesday – Friday from 1:30 – 6:30 pm, and on Saturdays from 9 – 4:30. Baylen Slote is available for herbal consultations from 2 – 4 pm Tuesday through Friday. Please call (310) 260-0013 for more information or to make an appointment.
